Kawartha Local Marketplace is still a relatively new store in Peterborough, with a very new approach to what it sells. General Manager Rob Howard sells only local products. The company has to be in a 50-kilometer radius from Peterborough, as well as the materials. The manufacturing also has to be done within 50 kilometers from Peterborough. It’s something Howard regulates thoroughly.
